Hanna Roberts, JD
Staff Attorney
ACLU of Oklahoma
Hanna Roberts previously worked with the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s Office, where she represented indigent clients in the criminal legal system, from arrest to ultimate disposition. Hanna was also previously an associate in the litigation and regulatory practices of Conner & Winters. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law with highest honors, including Order of the Coif, Order of the Barristers, and Order of the Scribes. During her time at OU Law, Hanna won the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition, several intraschool moot court tournaments, and was a member of the Judiciary Committee with the Oklahoma Law Review. Her publication focuses on the rights of students with disabilities in public charter schools. Hanna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma, where she was recognized as a Distinguished Graduate of the Cherokee Nation.
Jill Melrose, LPC, M. Ed.
Retired Director of Cameron University’s Student Wellness Center
During Jill’s career, she held multiple positions, including as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Taliaferro Mental Health Center, Lawton, Oklahoma, where she served as a therapist, triage supervisor, inpatient director, competency evaluator, and trauma trainer for law enforcement and other outside organizations.
